Hey, look — I made a new webcomic. Let’s see how long this new burst of interest in my drawing tablet lasts.

If you don’t read Shelf Check, you really should. And if you somehow missed the first 9 comics in this series, they’re here.

I’ve got some video from the Crowell Family visit and our road trip; my plan is to make a one-minute super-fast montage. (DLF is most skeptical of the idea that I can limit myself to such a short length.)

TimeWasterâ„¢

In the true spirit of wasting your time, here’s a guy (dressed as Scorpion no less) playing the Mortal Kombat song on an accordion.

Today I’m listening to: Tosca!

Big Bang Big Boom

Best video I’ve watched on the web this year. Maybe best of the last 5. Simply amazing work from BluBlu.

It’s summer, so I should be blogging more. But between the novel I’m not working on, the biography of Balzac’s wife I’m not writing, the road trip we just took, and the video games I’m playing, I can’t seem to find the time!

Also: I used to save up cool stuff like this and then post it here, along with my asinine musings about Sarah Palin and killer robots. But lately I just pop this sort of thing onto Facebook, which is easier and usually results in more comments. So if you’re not my friend on Facebook, add me! (And if you never signed up, well.. sigh.)
